19th century bread crumbs

A custom-made container for the preservation of 19th century court case file which included bread crumbs that were used as an evidence in the case (Vilnius University Library, Manuscripts Department, document No. F2-KC438).

The object is often showed during the guided tours in the library. Therefore, the container is meant to offer also an esthetic solution in order to expose the combination of two pieces of different origin and size, the bread and the manuscript case file.
